In addition, the company offers on-site maintenance, motor maintenance, simulation tools, and wind services, as well as training for process industries and energy production solutions. It serves semiconductors; electric vehicle; battery energy storage system; solar; wind; railways and metros; aerospace; chemicals; building and infrastructure; electrical production, transmission, and distribution; and energy conversion, as well as energy, process industries, and various other markets. The company was formerly known as Groupe Carb/one Lorraine SA and changed its name to Mersen S.A. in May 2010. Mersen S.A. was founded in 1889 and is headquartered in Courbevoie, France.
