Grupo Empresarial San José, S.A., together with its subsidiaries, engages in construction business in Spain and internationally. The company also researches and develops energy efficiency and renewable energy projects; and provides consultancy and project management services for the architecture, civil engineering/infrastructure, real estate management, technology, and sustainable development projects. In addition, it engages in agriculture and cattle businesses; distributes sport and fashion clothes under the Arena, Teva, Hoka, Diadora, Hunter, and Fred Perry clothing brands; and construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of facilities. Further, the company offers repair, engineering, electrical, mechanical, and installations services; provisions of health care and social services; and designs and installs air conditioning, heating, industrial cooling, and plumbing facilities. Additionally, it engages in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution of manufactured goods; real estate and tourism project development activities; construction, commissioning, and maintenance of polygeneration power plants; sale, rental, and construction of urban and rural property; press, trade, and investment activities; management and recruitment of personnel; leasing of assets; turnkey projects; design, development, manufacture, and sale of integrated systems, electronic, computer, telecommunications, audiovisual components, products, and systems, as well as edits, produces, and releases books, newspapers, magazines, and videos; and sells mix farming products. The company was formerly known as Udra S.A. and changed its name to Grupo Empresarial San José, S.A. in June 2008. The company was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
