About Us - iO Charts

This Is Who We Are

We created iO Charts to help everyday people understand the world of investing.

Development started in 2019 with the idea of providing fundamental data on individual stocks in a visual format that is easy to understand and digest.

Later, a stock screener and a portfolio manager were added and the site became multilingual, now available in 20 languages.

During that time we were selected to participate in the Startupbootcamp FinTech & CyberSecurity 2022 program to compete with other fintech startups.

In 2023 we made the decision to enter the crypto world and add support for crypto assets. The blockchain is just new technology where expert teams can build products. In the traditional world, these teams are called companies :)

The traditional and crypto worlds are slowly converging with more and more real-world assets available on-chain (like stocks, bonds, national currencies, real estate, etc.), as well as crypto market performance having an increasingly strong correlation to traditional markets.

For this reason, our goal is to merge the two worlds and provide data and analysis on both traditional, as well as crypto assets.

We might still be a bit early, but we do believe that this convergence is just a matter of time.

Our Team

Bálint Kuhár

Co-Founder

Bálint started investing in stocks in 2017 and it quickly turned into his passion.
Started developing iO Charts with his co-founder, entering crypto and the world of DeFi (Decentralized Finance) soon after.
Switched his primary focus to the blockchain, actively working in DeFi projects ever since.
Also works as a part-time dad :)

Márton József Bulla

Lead Content Writer

Márton is passionate about stock investing, where he performs deep fundamental analysis to better understand each company and publishes his findings on the iO Charts blog.
He has also tried his hand in startup investing, with his journey well documented on the site.
He is also a passionate table soccer player :)

Zoltán László Ferenci

Lead Developer

Zoltán is a seasoned developer with broad product expertise and a strong background in forex. He now focuses on full-stack development and actively contributes to open-source projects like Continue.dev. His experience spans several languages — primarily JavaScript, Python and Java.
He is responsible for site-wide feature development.

András Orbán

Co-Founder

András is drawn to the idea of long-term, steady growth and data-driven approaches. He started with an interest in dividend stocks and later expanded to the wider stock market.
His role on this site includes maintaining the data that supports its features.
